ABOUT
Spins & Needles is a mobile art party that travels to different cities around the world. The event mixes DJs with creative types, dancefloor with art gallery, and underground beats with hands-on art/design projects. First conceived in Montreal by designer Melanie Yugo and DJ Jason Pelletier, they threw the first event as a way to create a temporary space for creative types to get together, listen to music and make stuff. It quickly caught on; since then over 100 events and workshops have been produced in the US, Canada, UK and Europe, serving up local and international DJs playing the freshest underground beats mixed with cutting-edge art/design projects.
